Drivin’ N’ Cryin’ formed in 1985 and are members of the Georgia Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They were inducted in 2015 by Peter Buck of R.E.M. who stated that DnC are “his favorite band of all-time”

Marty Willson-Piper, originally from Liverpool in the UK is a member of the Australian Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with his former band, The Church.  Marty has also performed with: The Saints, All About Eve and Anekdoten.  His musician partnership with Producer Dare Mason is under the band name: Noctorum.

Schoolkids has worked with Marty for over 10 years.  Releasing multiple albums.  The new Noctorum studio album “The Afterlife” will be released in Feb 2019.

Bettie Serveert formed in 1990 in Amsterdam. Fronted by lead singer, Carol Van Dijk, people often make the mistake of thinking that the singer is “Bettie” when in fact, it’s the band name translates to “Bettie Serves” or “Service to Bettie” which is the title of a book written by legendary Dutch tennis player, Betty Stove who made it to the Wimbledon ladies singles final in 1977.

The Veldt formed in 1998 and were named Spin Magazine “Bands to Watch” in the early 90’s.

Uniquely talented, the band is fronted by twin brothers, Danny and Daniel Chavis. Often associated with Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) the band is often compared to bands such as My Bloody Valentine, TV On The Radio, Cocteau Twins, Echo & The Bunnymen, Living Colour and others.

Formed in 2017 as a new project by acclaimed Finnish Soul/Jazz artist Tuomo Prattala and singer/songwriter Markus Nordenstreng of The Latebirds.  “Dead Circles” released by Schoolkids Records in Sept 2018 is their debut album and was recorded in Tucson, AZ at studio sessions with various members of the bands Calexico, Wilco and The Jayhawks.

ATHENAEUM

Athenaeum formed in the early 90’s while high school in Greensboro, NC.   They went on to release four albums, including two for Atlantic Records in the late 90’s.  Their Atlantic Debut “Radiance” reached #3 in the Billboard Heatseekers Charts, selling over 90,000 copies and garnering the Modern Rock Radio hit “What I Didn’t Know” The band toured with country with The Goo Goo Dolls, Semisonic, Guster and others and disbaned in the early 2000’s.  They still, on occasion get back together for reunion shows, including a recent sold out show in Winston-Salem, NC (close to 1500 people) to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of “Radiance”
